"I have a high level of confidence in his abilities to seamlessly transition into the MARSD and to lead our district's business office as an important member of our Central Office Cabinet," Healy said.

The current business administrator is James Strimple, who was appointed by the board of education as an interim. Strimple will continue to work as a consultant as needed in Matawan for the month of December to help ease the transition process, Healy explained.

"I want to thank Mr. Strimple for his leadership as the district's financial advisor for nearly two years where he has been invaluable a member of our administrative team," said Healy. "We have all benefited from his knowledge, experience and expertise where we have been able to accomplish so much in so little time."

Strimple will join Freehold Borough as the interim business administrator.
