Two-Vehicle Accident Slows Northbound Parkway Traffic

The mid-morning accident happened near mile marker 119

Traffic was moving slowly after a two-vehicle accident on the northbound side of Garden State Parkway in Aberdeen Township Wednesday morning.

Shortly before 9:45 a.m. in the local lanes near mile marker 119, according to NJ State Police, an accident involving a car and an SUV occurred. The SUV overturned during the accident.

Both drivers reported minor injuries, NJ State Police said. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.

Some local lanes were closed while the car and SUV were towed from the scene, causing traffic delays.

The accident is now cleared, according to NJ State Police.
