Police Directing Traffic Around Downed Tree on Route 34 in Aberdeen

Drivers are being directed around the tree while the NJDOT responds to the scene.

Traffic is being diverted around a downed tree on Route 34 in Aberdeen near Bechstein Drive by the police and fire departments, according to Police Chief John Powers. The tree fell shortly before 8:30 p.m. Monday.

The New Jersey Department of Transportation is responding to the scene, Powers said. 

Drivers should use caution in the area and select an alternative route if possible.
