Three arrests made by Aberdeen Township Police

The following is a press release from the Aberdeen Township Police Department:

The Aberdeen Township Police made the following arrests on June 30, 2011 and July 1, 2011:

Bennett T. Jackson, 46, of Kennedy Ave., Aberdeen, was arrested at his home on June 30, 2011 on a contempt of court warrant out of Monmouth County Superior Court. He was turned over to Monmouth County Sheriff’s officers in default of bail in the amount of $42,705.42. P.O. Matthew Lloyd was the arresting officer.

Sylvester J. Wiernas, 21, Wells Dr., Parlin, NJ, was arrested on July 1, 2011 at approximately 2:10 AM for contempt of court on a warrant issued out of Cranford municipal court. He was released on a $250.00 recognizance bond. P.O. Craig Hausmann made the arrest.

Stephen J. Sarica, 22, Ivy Way, Aberdeen, was arrested on July 1, 2011 at 1:45 PM by Det. Henry Chevalier for credit card theft. He was issued a summons and released pending a court appearance.
