Morganville Man Indicted for Using Forged Script at Matawan Walgreens
Police say he presented a forged prescription at Walgreens in Matawan
A Morganville man was indicted for uttering a forged instrument and attempted obtaining a controlled dangerous substance by fraud by a Monmouth County grand jury on Tuesday.
Police say that Thomas Gougoumis, 37, entered the in Matawan at the intersection of Route 34 and Broad Street on Nov. 12, 2011 and presented a forged prescription for Oxycodone.
Both are third degree crimes.

The grand jury's vote does not determine guilt or innocence, only that charges may be brought against the people named in the indictment.
