Matawan Man Arrested For Alleged Possession, Intent to Distribute Heroin

Police say the man was in possession of a large amount of heroin

A Matawan man was charged by Aberdeen Township Police with possession of and intent to distribute heroin on Friday.

According to the charges, Calvin Pierce, 22, who lives in the apartment complex on Cross Road, was allegedly in possession of 92 wax paper bags of heroin labeled "Matrix" on Friday, May 4. 

Pierce made his initial court appearance on Monday, May 7. Bail was set at $40,000 with no 10% option, according to the charges.
