Man Indicted for Allegedly Selling Drugs in Aberdeen, Keyport

Police say the Beachwood man sold drugs to an undercover officer

A Monmouth County Grand Jury voted Jan. 17 to indict a Beachwood man for possession of cocaine, intent to distribute cocaine and distribution of cocaine.

Police say that David Connor, 42, sold cocaine to an undercover detective from the Monmouth County Sheriff's Office in Aberdeen Township on June 8, 2011. Connor also allegedly sold cocaine to an undercover detective from the Monmouth County Sheriff's Office in Keyport on July 6, 2011, according to police.

Connor was indicted on two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute and two counts of distribution of a controlled dangerous substance. All are third degree crimes.

The Grand Jury's vote does not determine guilt or innocence, only that charges may be brought against the people named in the indictment.
