Man Accused of Drug Possession, Distribution Near Matawan Aberdeen Middle School

He allegedly intended to sell prescription medications near the middle school, court records say.

A Morganville man was indicted by a Monmouth County grand jury Wednesday on charges he allegedly intended to sell prescription medication within 1,000 feet of Matawan Aberdeen Middle School.

Investigators say Ayman Eltarabily, 28, was in possession of alprazolam or hydrocodone in the vicinity of the middle school in April.

He was indicted on a total of three crimes, including possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS), possession of a CDS with the intent to distribute and possess of a CDS within 1,000 feet of a school with the intent to distribute. All are in the third degree.

An indictment does not indicate a conviction, only that a grand jury voted there was enough evidence to proceed with a trial.
