Cliffwood Man Arrested for Two Car Burglaries in Aberdeen

Police say the man allegedly stole prescription pills from the parked cars.

A Cliffwood man was arrested for allegedly burglarizing two cars in Aberdeen Township on Friday, May 11.

According to a complaint out of the Aberdeen Township Police Department, Christian Mead, 22, allegedly entered two cars, one parked on Ferndale Place and another parked on Garden Place, and removed the car owners' prescription medications. Oxycodone was allegedly taken from the Ferndale Place car and Clonezepan was allegedly taken from the Garden Place car.

Mead is charged with two counts of third degree burglary, two counts of third degree theft and two counts of fourth degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

Bail was set at $30,000.
