Aberdeen Man Charged with Car Burglary

Police say burglary took place June 25 on Amboy Avenue

An Aberdeen man was charged with the burglary of a motor vehicle, Aberdeen Township Police say.

Jared M. Weaver, 22, of Woodmere Drive, was arrested on July 14 and charged with a June 25 motor vehicle burglary that took place on Amboy Avenue. The arrest was made by Detective Henry Chevalier and Officer Vito Turchiano at a residence on Fairfield Way.

Bail was set at $25,000 with not 10 percent option on burglary and theft charges. Weaver was also wanted on contempt of court warrents issued out of Aberdeen municipal court in the amount of $3,500.

Weaver was committed to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution in default of bail.
