Obituary: Holly Anne Fitzgerald, 48, of Aberdeen

She was a past member of the South Aberdeen Emergency Medical Service

Holly Anne Fitzgerald, 48, of Aberdeen, passed away on Nov. 13. in her home. Born on December 13, 1962 in Phillipsburg, NJ, she was the daughter of the late James J. and Jane Marie Breiner Corrigan.

Holly was a member of the Monmouth County Republican Committee, Aberdeen Twp. Republican Club, past member of the Monmouth County Federation of Republican Women, and South Aberdeen Emergency Medical Service.

She was employed at Costco in Hazlet, NJ and Stop and Shop in Aberdeen, NJ, as a cashier. She was a graduate of Delaware Valley Regional High School in 1981, and attended Churchman s Business School in Easton, PA. Known for her big heart, and sense of humor, she always remembered birthdays and anniversaries, and had a great smile. She could warm up any room she was in. Holly also loved the New York Yankees and the New York Giants.

She is survived by her husband, Edward G. Fitzgerald; her daughters, Christine M. Godley of Forks Twp., PA and Amanda J. Godley of Akron, PA; brothers and sisters, Marianne Eastwood of Frenchtown, NJ, James W. Corrigan of Gooseneck, SC, William L. Corrigan of Milford, NJ, Michael P. Corrigan of Milford, NJ, and Stephen Corrigan of Wayne Twp., NJ; two aunts, Millicent Breiner of Hellertown, PA and Esther Ecker of Warren Glen, NJ. She was predeceased by a sister, Christine Edwards in 2006, and a brother in 1958.

A funeral service will be held at the Finegan Funeral Home, 302 Heckman St., Phillipsburg, NJ, on Friday, November 18, 2011 at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Ss. Philip & James Cemetery, Greenwich, NJ. Viewing hours Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home, and on Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
