School Supply Drive at Temple Shalom of Aberdeen
Support the children of Matawan and Aberdeen by helping them go back to school with the supplies they need.
The annual school supply drive organized by the Sisterhood of Temple Shalom in Aberdeen will begin this week. The supplies will be distributed to families in the community that are unable to afford them.
A basket will remain in the lobby of Temple Shalom, 5 Arymont Lane, until Sept. 3. Donated items must be new school supplies, such as pencils, notebooks and backpacks, in their original packaging.
The temple is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Tuesday to Thursday and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Fridays.
