Matawan Historical Society Meeting
The Matawan Historical Society will meet on Monday at 7:30 p.m. in Burrowes Mansion. New Jersey Historian Philip Jaeger will be presenting a program at the April meeting of the Matawan Historical Society entitled "Castles of New Jersey." Light refreshments will be served after the program.

The Monmouth County Clerk’s Office and Monmouth County Archives will present a workshop entitled “Preserving Family Photos” at 6 p.m. at the Monmouth County Connection in Neptune.

Free Tree Seedlings Givaway at Arbor Day Event
Hundreds of free tree seedlings will be given away at Arbor Day event at Thompson Park on April 26. The seedlings, called buttonbush, will not grow over 7 feet tall and will not impact power lines. They have white flowers.
