Last Chance: Bid on Vehicles Being Sold by Matawan Aberdeen Board of Education

Bids must be received by the business administrator by 8 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 25.

Two vehicles are being sold by the Matawan Aberdeen Regional School District Board of Education after the board declared both vehicles obsolete to the district on Dec. 17, according to the district website.

The first is a 1985 Chevy Custom Deluxe Rack Body Truck, vehicle identification number 1GBJK34W9FS193572, with 176,064 miles. The second is a 1992 Dodge Pickup Truck with plow and controls, vehicle identification number 1B7KM36Z9NS577853, with 61,048. 

Bids must be recieved by the district's Business Office by 8 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 25. The successful bidder on each vehicle will be contact on Friday to arrange payment.

Personal check, money order or cashier's checks can be made payable to: Matawan-Aberdeen Regional School District. Cash will also be accepted, but a check is preferred. No credit or debit cards will be accepted. 

Vehicles that are not sold will be donated or discarded.
