Five Things: Flash Flood Warning Remains in Effect

FLASH FLOOD WARNING

The National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning starting late last night, which will remain in effect until late tonight, Aug. 19. Showers and thunderstorms are expected to produce between two to four inches of rain. Some grounds may be still wet from previous storms, making flooding more likely.

Today will be mostly cloudy with a high near 81 degrees, according to the national weather service. There is a chance of showers and thunderstorms, continuing through this evening, which may produce heavy rainfall.

Saturday will be partly sunny, with a high near 85 degrees. Howeer, there is a 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms continuing throughout the day and into Saturday night.

Sunday forecasts indicate a 40% chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 11 a.m. Otherwise, it will be party sunny with a high near 86 degrees.
