Young Readers Celebrate Finisher's Day

MAPL hosted a Summer Reading Club Finisher's Day Friday, Aug. 12

Young readers celebrated a summer full of new books and friends at the Matawan Aberdeen Public Library on Friday, Aug. 12.

The library had crafts, a puppet show, raffles and even a caricature artist to mark the end of this year's Summer Reading Club.

According to Kimberly Paone, the library director, the summer reading program had 667 participants this year, the highest amount yet.
