Monday, Oct. 22

Aberdeen Township Leaf Pick-Up

Aberdeen will pick up leaves in Oakshades, Freneau, and Strathmore Sections I and J on Monday. Click the link above for the full fall schedule.

Matawan Historical Society

The Matawan Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. at the Burrowes' Mansion. Author and historian Linda Barth will present a program titled "The Delaware and Raritan Canal." Light refreshments will be served after the program.

Matawan Aberdeen Board of Education

The Board of Education will meet at 7 p.m. for a regular action meeting at Matawan Aberdeen Middle School. 

Wednesday, Oct. 24

Blood Drive in Honor of Lisa Balletta

Support Lisa Balletta in her fight against breast cancer by donating blood on Thursday, Oct. 25 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. The blood drive is being hosted by Aberdeen Township at the township municipal building at One Aberdeen Square, off of Church Street. 

Mater Dei Open House

Mater Dei Prep will have a high school informational night for all middle school families on October 24th at 7pm at  The school will be open that night for anyone who would like to visit the school and meet with the coaches.

Aberdeen Township Zoning Board 

The zoning board will meet at 7:30 p.m. Agendas are available online. Copies will also be available at the meeting. The public is encouraged to attend.

Thursday, Oct. 25

American Girls Sew & Play Day

Join the Hobby Shop on Event Avenue for this sure to be fun event! Participants will sew and creat a mini keepsake for their American Girl doll. Advanced in-store registration is required with a registration fee. Seating is limited and is on a first come basis.

Matawan Regional High School Open House

Join the staff at MRHS at 7 p.m. for an open house to welcome the future classes of 2017 and 2018 to the high school. Attendees will learn more about opportunities available at MRHS as well as the Freshman Academy.
