Superintendent confirms middle school principal handed in letter of resignation last week
Principal Tyler Blackmore handed in his letter of resignation, Superintendent David Healy confirmed.

During the backlash, Healy , stating in a press release, "I have confidence in Mr. Blackmore and his administrative team and believe that he acted in a responsible manner."
Healy did not know whether or not Blackmore had another job lined up or for what personal reasons he decided to resign.

Blackmore's resignation is expected to be on the agenda for the Board of Education's on Monday, April 16.
