Aberdeen Township will celebrate the Fourth of July with a free fireworks show at Fireman's Field on Friday, July 5.
Sponsored in full by Quality 1st Basement Systems, the event will begin at 7:30 p.m. with musical entertainment by DJ Adam Saber with fireworks to follow. All that is needed is a chair or blanket. Refreshments will be available for purchase featuring John and Debbie O's (funnel cake and fried Oreos), Big Harley BBQ (Pulled pork), C&G Sausage (steak, sausage, hamburgers and hotdogs), Mr. Softee (ice cream), and Little Jimmy Ice Cream and Ices.
Fireman's Field is located on Lloyd Road and Gerard Street in Aberdeen.
Sponsor Quality 1st Basement Systems and its affiliated companies are in the process of relocating their headquarters from Perth Amboy to the former 18 Lumber site on Route 35 in the Cliffwood section. The company previously sponsored the fireworks show that capped off Aberdeen Day 2012.
