Free Rabies Clinic Scheduled in Aberdeen Next Week

Clinic is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 6

If your furry friend is in need of a rabies vaccination, take note of a free clinic scheduled for next week in Aberdeen.

Dog and cat licenses are renewable between Jan. 1-31 of each year, according to the township. To renew a license in January, pet rabies immunization cannot expire before Nov. 1, 2014, a state requirement.

So, take care of that immunization on Wednesday, Nov. 6, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the township garage on Lenox Rd., off of Cliffwood Ave.

All dogs must be leashed, and cats must be in a carrier. Anyone with questions is asked to call the township Health Department at 732-583-4200, ext. 129 or 173.

Those who immunize their pets at a veterinarian are asked to submit proof at license renewal time, the township said.
