Two Keyport Businesses Re-Open after Sandy

Two notable Keyport food establishments, which had closed due to Hurricane Sandy damage, are holding Grand Re-Opening celebrations this week.

Keyport Fishery, a popular fresh seafood market, will be celebrating their re-opening on Tuesday, March 26th at 4:45 p.m. at their well-known location at 150 W. Front Street, Keyport.

Keyport Fishery has been in the same location for over seventy-five years, withstanding floods and fires throughout their history; most recently, storm damage from Hurricane Sandy had kept them from operating the famous Keyport landmark for several weeks.  The owners look forward to a successful Spring  season serving the Bayshore  with their fresh seafood market and cooked seafood-to–take-out.  For more information, visit their website at Keyportfishery.net.

Drew's Bayshore Bistro, a popular BYOB restaurant, has just re-opened  in a new location, at 25 Church Street in Keyport. A ribbon-cutting  ceremony is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26th. Owner Drew Araneo will welcome Council members to  celebrate the re-opening of his famous restaurant.

Fans of Drew’s signature dishes such as Crawfish Etoufee, Jambalaya and Voodoo Shrimp should note that the location is new, but the Bayshore Bistro’s phone number and website remain the same.  Please visit  their website, bayshorebistro.com, for more information .
