Six Flags Job Fair Rescheduled for Saturday

Looking for summer employment? Fill out an application online and then visit the Six Flags Job Fair this weekend.

Six Flags Great Adventure will hold a job fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 16 for applicants seeking one of the park's 4,000 positions for the 2013 season.  Before attending, new applicants must visit www.sixflagsjobs.com to complete an online application. The job fair was rescheduled from Saturday, Feb. 9 due to the snow storm.  Six Flags offers a wide variety of positions and paid internships and provides team members many benefits including flexible hours, advancement opportunities, health and medical benefits, reward and recognition programs, scholarships, free park admission, incentives from area businesses and much more.  The job fair will take place at the Six Flags Great Adventure Showcase Theater located off of Route …

Great Adventure Announces Big Changes for 2013

Safari to join main park

After announcing that the Wild Safari would no longer allow drivers to travel through its trails next year, Six Flags Great Adventure announced even more changes for the park in 2013.                         The 160-acre theme park and the 350-acre Wild Safari will be merged into one site to become the world's largest theme park, according to a press release from the company. In addition to the roller coasters, games, shopping and entertainment the newly designed park will also include what is being called the "Safari Off Road Challenge." The safari includes close to 1200 animals and the Safari Off Road Adventure will have a new way to explore the area. All of our staff have, naturally taken kids to the theme park. While the flash pass option is nice, it's pricey. Frankly, a system that many restaurants use - a pager that lets you know it's your turn - could radically improve the park experience for all visitors. We look forward to seeing lions up close, but solving the issue of long lines, is what most park visitors want tamed.   more ›
