Job Fair for Health/Fitness Workers in New Brunswick on Oct. 10

The job fair will take place from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Oct. 10 at One Penn Plaza in the space formerly occupied by the Rutgers Bookstore.

A job fair will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Oct. 10 to fill positions at the new Robert Wood Johnson Health and Wellness Plaza. According to a release from the New Brunswick Development Corporation, both full and part-time jobs are available and include managers, membership counselors, customer service representatives, exercise physiologists, personal trainers, group fitness instructors, Pilates Reformer instructors, aquatic directors, lifeguards, WSI Instructors, nursing RN/LPN, childcare and receptionists.             All positions include a complimentary membership to the fitness center and opportunities for advancement, according to the release. Veterans Job Fair to Be Held Thursday at Rutgers

The GI Go Fund and Rutgers Veterans Services will hold the job fair on College Avenue from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

A major job fair for veterans will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at the Rutgers University Student Center, 126 College Ave.         Hosted by the Newark-based GI Go Fund and Rutgers Veterans Services, the event will feature over 50 businesses and organizations tabling about employment opportunities, including Johnson & Johnson, Prudential, PNC Bank, SetFocus, Cablevision, the FBI, the New Jersey State Police, and the Pennsylvania State Police, according to a press release from the GI Go Fund. Rutgers to Host NJ's Largest Career Day on May 30

More than 170 employers will be at the career fair on College Avenue.

Rutgers University will host what the university says is the state's largest Career Day from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. May 30 at the Rutgers University Student Center, 126 College Ave., and at Brower Commons at 145 College Ave. More than 170 employers are expected to set up booths at the New Jersey Collegiate Career Day. The event is sponsored by Rutgers Career Services. It is open to all Rutgers students, alumni, and the public -- including those who have already had experience in the job market. Get Hired This Month at Brookdale Job Fair

Workshops will be held on Feb. 16 and 17 in advance of the Feb. 24 event.

Brookdale and its Long Branch satellite want to get you a job this month. On Feb. 24 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. the Brookdale Long Branch Higher Education Center, 213 Broadway, will host its annual free job fair. Last year when Brookdale Community College held the fair, some who came in jobless were snatched up by the businesses there looking to hire. Organizers are hoping that the event will be a success again this year and they are kicking it off with workshops for job hunters. iPlay America Holding Job Fair

iPlay America and its partner company Encore Banquet & Event Center are looking to fill 300 positions, according to Marcy Edwards, director of marketing and public relations for the company.
