Simple Tips to Improve Photographs of Holiday Lights

Capturing holiday lights on your camera can be a challenge. Get some tips. Photograph your lights. You could win $100,000.

We put up holiday lights to see how pretty they look when it gets dark. You want to capture those lights on your camera, but getting those lights to look right in your pictures can be more of a challenge than you bargained for. Professional photographers have lot of experience and cameras with all sorts of settings that most of us wouldn’t know what to do with.  Here are three tips for the amateur photographers out there.   Use these tips to take a picture of your home decorated with holiday lights. Santa Claus is Coming to Old Bridge

The Old Bridge Township Fire Department will be helping Santa wish local children a Merry Christmas.

After completing a trip through Matawan, Santa Claus will travel through Old Bridge Township, according to a press release issued by the North Pole.  Cheesequake Volunteer Fire Company will carry Santa through Old Bridge Township Fire District No. 2 on Friday, Dec. 14 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Saturday, Dec. 15 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Email santa@cheesequakefire.com for the route and schedule, which is subject to change.  You can also 'like' the Cheesequake Volunteer Fire Company on Facebook or visit their website.

Enjoy Food, Music & Good Cheer at Aberdeen's Holiday Fest

The tree and Menorah lighting at town hall will take place Thursday, Dec. 6.

Come kick off the holiday season with your fellow Aberdeen residents at the township's annual Holiday Fest.  Stop by town hall at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 6 to enjoy a Christmas tree and Menorah lighting. Refreshments will be served as residents enjoy music and a performance by Next Level Dance.  Santa Claus will also make an appearance at the event. The Aberdeen Township Municipal Building is located off of Church Street near the intersection of South Atlantic Avenue.

Santa Claus is Coming to Matawan

Santa will drive through the borough to waive to children and toss candy.

Santa Claus is making a list and checking it twice before he cruises through Matawan to say Merry Christmas to local children. The Matawan First Aid Squad will tow Mr. Claus on his sleigh from Monday, Dec. 10 to Thursday, Dec. 13, according to elves at the North Pole.
