The Matawan Historical Society presented a tour of the Rose Hill Cemetery Saturday morning. Although the only thing living in the cemetery seems to be a vivid history of Matawan, even the tour guide, Al Savolaine of the Matawan Historical Society, claimed the cemetery is haunted. Watch the video to see what a few tour-takers thought after their Rose Hill experience. There will be a second tour today, Sunday, July 10 at 2 p.m. Parking is free and available at the cemetery and the tour costs ten dollars.

What a wonderful tour! Who knew how much history Matawan-Aberdeen Had. My Al Savolaine gave us so much historial information, it almost seemed he was reincarnated. He was wonderful, as was the Historical Society team! Good job! Can't wait for another event! more ›
