Police: Cliffwood Man Charged with Burglary of Aberdeen Home

Police say he stole jewelry and other items from his neighbor's home.

A Cliffwood man is charged with allegedly breaking into a neighbor's home shortly after Christmas, according to the Aberdeen Township Police Department. Aberdeen P.O. Edgar Serrano responded to a report of a burglary on Milton Avenue at about 12:30 a.m. on Dec. 27, according to Lt. Joseph Cole. The initial investigation found that a window was forced open and jewelry, perfume and clothes were stolen.  The follow-up investigation, conducted by Det. Lou Nanna and Sgt. Hank Chevalier, led to the arrest of Christian Mead, 23, also of Milton Avenue, according to Lt. Cole.  Mead faces three charges, including burglary, theft and criminal mischief. He was committed to the Monmouth Correctional Facility in lieu of $25,000 bail with no 10 percent …
