A digital preservation workshop at the Matawan-Aberdeen library on Saturday will help get photos, slides, film and VHS tapes on to DVDs. Patrons can drop off their media at 11 a.m. Twenty percent of the conversion cost will be credited to the library. Appointments aren't required—stop in even just to ask a question.

The New Jersey Women’s Expo comes to Brookdale Community College this weekend. The two-day event will showcase the area's best products, services, seminars and attractions created for women. More information, including event times and pricing, is available online.

The Tot Shabbat at Temple Beth Ahm in Aberdeen kicks off Saturday at 11 a.m. The interactive service, featuring singing, dancing and snacks, was created for parents and their children ages 5 and under. Call 732-583-1700 for more information.
