Making plans for the weekend? Check out these local events:

Halloween fun is in full swing at the Matawan-Aberdeen library on Saturday.

Beginning at 10:30 a.m., the library will offer Halloween story time for children ages 2 and up.

Then, beginning at 11 a.m., kids will have the chance to make a Halloween craft that they can take home.

No registration is required for either program, and families are invited to stay for one or both. Contact Crhissie McGovern at 732-583-9100 for more information.

Then on Sunday, catch Dorothy Leeds in "Good Lessons from Bad Women," a one-woman show that begins at 1 p.m. More information and a link to register for the performance are available on the library's website
