Closing times for municipal offices, schools

Mark those calendars—below are programs, meetings and events you don't want to miss in Matawan and Aberdeen this week:

Monday, Dec. 23

Matawan-Aberdeen schools begin Winter Recess. They will reopen on Thursday, Jan. 2.

Tuesday, Dec. 24

Matawan Borough offices will close at 12 p.m., and Aberdeen will close its town hall at 1:30 p.m. in observance of Christmas Eve.

The Matawan-Aberdeen library will close for Christmas Eve and Day, reopening on Thursday.

Wednesday, Dec. 25

Matawan and Aberdeen municipal offices will remain closed for Christmas Day and are scheduled to reopen on Thursday.

Friday, Dec. 27

Mahjong Club at the Matawan-Aberdeen library begins at 10 a.m., and Bridge Club starts at 1:30 p.m. Call 732-583-9100 for more information.
