Flu Shot Clinic in Aberdeen

The Monmouth County Health Department will conduct a flu clinic at Aberdeen Town Hall on Thursday from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.

The following insurance plans will be accepted: Aetna, Humana, Medicare Part B, Medicare RR, United Mine Workers of America, Coventry, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare and Three Rivers Health. The cost for the flu shot will be $25 for those without the accepted insurances. Bring your Medicare cards. For more information, call the Monmouth County Health Department at (732) 431-7456.

The Matawan Public Library will screen the film What Maisie Knew on Monday at 2 p.m.

The Matawan Aberdeen Regional School District (MARSD) Board of Education will hold a special meeting at the Administration Building on Monday at 7 p.m.

MARSD’s back to school nights are scheduled for the middle school and high school this week. Matawan Aberdeen Middle School will hold a session on Tuesday at 7 p.m. for sixth grade parents and on Wednesday at 7 p.m. for seventh and eighth grade parents. Matawan Regional High School’s back to school night will be Thursday at 7 p.m.

The Matawan Borough Council meets Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Matawan Municipal Community Center.

The Aberdeen Township Council meets Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Town Hall.
