Monday, Jan. 6

The Matawan-Aberdeen Regional Board of Education is scheduled to hold its reorganization meeting beginning at 7 p.m. at the 1 Crest Way administration building.

Tuesday, Jan. 7

Children in grades K-3 are invited to learn about the King of Rock and Roll and celebrate Elvis’ birthday at 4:15 p.m. Registration is required, call 732-583-9100.

Wednesday, Jan. 8

A Matawan-Aberdeen Library Board meeting is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. All 2014 meetings will be held at the Matawan Municipal Community Center.

Due to budget cuts, the Matawan-Aberdeen library is closing at 6 p.m. on Wednesdays, beginning this week.

Friday, Jan. 10

Mahjong Club at the Matawan-Aberdeen library begins at 10 a.m., and Bridge Club starts at 1:30 p.m. Call 732-583-9100 for more information.
