Hope shined bright in Keyport Harbor on Saturday night, while boaters and volunteers worked to raise money for the RAINE Foundation.
Keyport Yacht Club's 13th annual Bill Volk Regatta & Charity Cup served as a "Sailing for the Bayshore" campaign in support of the Hazlet-based RAINE Foundation.
RAINE, which stands for Reaching All In Need Everyday, was extensively involved in the immediate aftermath of Hurricane Sandy and continues to be involved in the longterm recovery of the Bayshore.
The event included a sailboat race, a silent auction and several other on-shore activities. At 9 p.m., the "Light The Bay" portion of the evening began, with decorating sailboats casting their light back toward the Keyport Harbor.
