Olympic athletes
Erisson Hurtault is a Monmouth County native competing in the London Olympics.
I haven't seen any mention of Erisson Hurtault, who is one of the very few competing athletes from Domenica. He was their flag bearer during the parade of nations and is making a second appearance at the Olympic games. I remember him as a generous and driven student many years ago in my Matawan Aberdeen Middle School classes. I am surprised that his hometown is not clamoring to demonstrate their pride in his accomplishments, even if he is not running for the USA.
