Matawan Regional to Hold Career Academy Open House Dec. 3

The open house had to be rescheduled due to Sandy.

Matawan Regional High School will hold a Career Academy open house at 7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 3. The open house was originally scheduled for Nov. 1, but had to be rescheduled due to Sandy.

Students and faculty from each of the school's career academies will lead a presentation and provide applications to the program. Matawan has three academies, including Performing Arts, Business, and Bio Medical.

"We offer a full service educational experience for the students where they are given the opportunity to excel in academics, sports and numerous extra-curricular opportunities in their home town," said board of education president Charles Kenny. "Our facilities are modern and well-maintained and the classrooms have the latest technology that is integrated into our curriculum."

Matawan Regional High School was ranked fourth among public schools in Monmouth County in a list released by New Jersey Monthly.
