Matawan Regional High School will hold two open houses in the coming weeks, one for current middle school students and one to showcase their career academies.
On Thursday, Oct. 25 at 7 p.m., an open house will welcome the future classes of 2017 and 2018. Attendees will learn more about opportunities available at the high school as well as the Freshman Academy.
On Thursday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m., students and faculty from each of the school's career academies will lead a presentation and provide applications to the program. Matawan has three academies, including Performing Arts, Business, and Bio Medical.
Both events take place at the high school.
"We offer a full service educational experience for the students where they are given the opportunity to excel in academics, sports and numerous extra-curricular opportunities in their home town," said board of education president Charles Kenny. "Our facilities are modern and well-maintained and the classrooms have the latest technology that is integrated into our curriculum."
Matawan Regional High School was ranked fourth among public schools in Monmouth County in a list released by New Jersey Monthly.
