Matawan Aberdeen BOE to Hold Special Meeting Monday
The board will interview candidates for three district positions
The Matawan Aberdeen Regional Board of Education will hold a special action meeting Monday night to interview candidates for three positions within the district.
According to a public notice posted on the district's website, the meeting will begin at 7 p.m. and the board will immediately adjourn to executive session to interview candidates for principal of Lloyd Road School, assistant principal of Lloyd Road School, and director of accountability for math, science, technology from K-12.
The public notice estimates that the executive session will last about an hour and a half.

PUBLIC NOTICE
Special Meeting
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Matawan-Aberdeen Regional School District Board of Education will hold a Special Meeting on Monday, August 13, 2012. The meeting will begin at 7:00 PM and take place at the Administration Building located at One Crest Way, Aberdeen, New Jersey.
The Board of Education will immediately convene in Executive Session to interview candidates for the following positions:
-Principal - Lloyd Road Elementary School
-Assistant Principal - Lloyd Road Elementary School
-Director of Accountability Math/Science/Technology K-12
Upon return from Executive Session it is the intention of the Board of Education to take action on these appointments. The Board will be in Executive Session approximately for one and one-half hours. It is intended that the Board of Education will also take action on other personnel items and other items requiring Board action.
In accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act, there will be an opportunity for public comment.
