Keyport School District Adds Days to Calendar Due to Sandy Closures
Keyport schools were closed for two weeks in the aftermath of Sandy.
Keyport public schools, like many in the Bayshore area, must make-up missed instructional time after Hurricane Sandy.
Keyport schools were closed for two weeks after the storm. Central School was used as a shelter for residents displaced due to storm damage or power outages.

- Jan. 21, 2013 - Martin Luther King Day
- Feb. 18, 2013 - Presidents' Day
- April 2 through April 5, 2013 - Spring Break
The changes were formalized at the Nov. 28 Keyport Board of Education meeting.
