Celebrate 'Springtime in Paris' at St. Joseph High School

The Metuchen Mother's Club's is holding their popular basket raffle, and they're seeking donations and selling tickets

The Mothers Club of St. Joseph High School in Metuchen will host its 39th Annual Basket Raffle on Friday, March, 22. This year’s theme, “Springtime in Paris,” is expected to draw over 750 attendees who will compete for more than 300 gift baskets.

The value of the baskets ranges from General Baskets (worth $100 to $299); Super Prize Baskets ($300-$999) and the much coveted Grand Prize Baskets, values at over $1,000.

The raffle is always a sold-out event.

The Mothers Club is reaching out to local businesses and individuals to
request donations of goods and services for the raffle. A merchant’s products, gift cards for a restaurant, or gift certificates for a local professional’s services are all welcome donations, which are tax deductible.

Donations will be accepted through March 1 and can be dropped off at St. Joe’s Main Office or mailed to: Mothers Club, St. Joseph High School, 145 Plainfield Ave., Metuchen, NJ 08840-1099.

For more information about donating, contact Mary Ann Reis at 732.895.9161 or bsascoutmom@gmail.com.

Proceeds from the basket raffle are put right back into St Joseph High School. Security cameras, library furniture, a telephone address system, and an annual scholarship fund are just a few of the much-needed projects that have been funded because of the generosity of the Mothers Club’s volunteers, sponsors, and raffle attendees.

Admission tickets and advance-sale raffle tickets are available through the St. Joseph website at stjoes.org (click on Parents, then Mothers Club, and then Upcoming Events – 2013 Basket Raffle.)
