Board of Education to Select President, Vice President at Organization Meeting

Four new board members will also be sworn in at Thursday night's meeting.

The Matawan Aberdeen Board of Education will select a president and a vice president at their organization meeting Thursday, Jan. 3 at 7 p.m. at One Crest Way in Aberdeen.

The board will also swear in four new members elected on Nov. 6. James Macomber and Tara Martinez, of Aberdeen, will serve three-year terms. Joelle Nappi, of Aberdeen, will serve a one-year unexpired term. Kathleen Gentile, of Matawan, will serve a three-year term. 

The code of ethics, policies and regulations and parliamentary procedures will also be adopted for 2013.
