The public is encouraged to share their ideas to improve Gravelly Brook Park in Matawan, according to a public notice.
The borough is hoping to receive a grant from the Monmouth County Open Space Program to improve field conditions and demolish the existing building at the park.
There will be public hearing on Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 7 p.m. at the Matawan Municipal Community Center on Broad Street. During the hearing, an outline of the proposed project will be provided and residents will have the opportunity to ask questions, express concerns and share ideas.
The project would be split into three phases, according to the notice.
