Doomsday is almost here. The extension from the weekend and Washington D.C. holiday is almost up, and taxes are due on April 17.
Taxpayers have until Tuesday, April 17 to file their 2011 tax returns and pay any tax due because and Emancipation Day, a holiday observed in the District of Columbia, falls on Monday, April 16 this year.
