Agenda: Matawan Council to Vote on Massage Parlor License for Hot Stone Massage

A masseuse from the parlor is facing prostitution charges after an investigation conducted by the Matawan Borough Police Department.

Hot Stone Massage of Main Street in Matawan remains in hot water.

The Matawan Borough Council will vote Tuesday on a resolution that would deny the parlor's massage license renewal, as well as on a resolution that would deny the parlor's owner, Lioudmila Tynanskikh, of Manalapan, a masseuse license renewal.

Hot Stone Massage was shut down in March after a masseuse allegedly offered prostitution services to an undercover Matawan police officer. Borough police conducted the two week investigation after they received a tip about the alleged illegal activity.

At Tuesday's meeting, the borough will also vote on resolutions accepting the retirement of Borough Clerk Jean Montfort and Police Secretary and former Court Administrator Patricia Sickels as well as a resolution appointing a senior officer in command of the Matawan Borough Police Department.

The Tuesday, April 16 meeting will begin at 7 p.m. in the Matawan Municipal Community Center.

So it took ten POs to confirm there was prostitution. How much OT was involved in the sting operation or did the POs do it for free???
