Agenda: Matawan Council to Vote on Massage Parlor License for Hot Stone Massage

A masseuse from the parlor is facing prostitution charges after an investigation conducted by the Matawan Borough Police Department.

Hot Stone Massage of Main Street in Matawan remains in hot water.

The Matawan Borough Council will vote Tuesday on a resolution that would deny the parlor's massage license renewal, as well as on a resolution that would deny the parlor's owner, Lioudmila Tynanskikh, of Manalapan, a masseuse license renewal.

Hot Stone Massage was shut down in March after a masseuse allegedly offered prostitution services to an undercover Matawan police officer. Borough police conducted the two week investigation after they received a tip about the alleged illegal activity.
