Thief Stole Air Conditioner From Tire Store, Police Say

An unknown person also damaged a work vehicle at the business.

Labor Day may have come and gone, but summer's not over for one thief desperately in need of AC, according to Aberdeen Township police.

An unknown person snuck into a Lloyd Road tire repair store late Monday or early Tuesday and made off with an air conditioning unit, Chief John T. Powers said in a release.

The store's owner reported the missing item to police on Tuesday and noted that a work vehicle had also been damaged.

Police Officer Mary Johnston is investigating. No charges have been filed or suspects name.
