Matawan's Second Annual Shortest St. Patrick's Day Parade [VIDEO]

Jackson Street was lined with people wearing green Friday night

The Matawan Borough Fire Department celebrated St. Patrick's Day with their second annual shortest parade Friday night.

We can't confirm or deny if it is in fact the state's shortest parade, but it didn't last more than ten minutes. Fire trucks from Matawan, Aberdeen and Keyport and  classic cars traveled for one block along Jackson Street, while local Girl Scouts, the Knights of Columbus and councilpeople marched down the street.

After the parade, everyone was invited back to Washington Engine Company for corned beef, cabbage and carrots, and potatoes.
