Police: Pair Stole Jewelry from Home, Sold It to Gold Stores

The jewelry was recovered at gold buying stores throughout Keansburg and Hazlet, according to police.

Two people were arrested and charged with the theft of $7,000 worth of jewelry from a Holmdel home.

Thomas Gingerelli, 27 of Keansburg and Donna Brucato, 28, of Aberdeen are accused of burglarizing a McCampbell Road home on July 5.

The resident reported to police that a suspect had entered her home, leaving with thousands of dollars worth of jewelry. According to Holmdel Police, the jewelry was recovered at gold buying stores throughout Keansburg and Hazlet.

Gingarelli and Brucato were charged with burglary and theft. Lt. Louis Torres and Detective John Allen investigated.
