Police: Drunk Aberdeen Woman Kicked, Punched Officers

When car windows proved an unworthy opponent, police say an intoxicated Aberdeen woman took out her aggression on township officers

Eva Kinney, 30, allegedly became hostile Saturday afternoon when police were investigating the report of women breaking windows of a vehicle on Cortland Lane at the Strathmore Garden apartments complex.

Kinney became combative with the officers and resisted their efforts to take her into custody, according to police.  While at headquarters, she allegedly kicked Police Officer Mary Johnston and punched Sgt. Frank Sigismondi in the face. Kinney faces aggravated assault on two police officers, resisting arrest, and criminal mischief charges following the incident.

She was released after posting a $2,500 bail with an option to post 10 percent of the bond.
