Pair Indicted on Several Charges of Receiving Stolen Property

An Aberdeen man and a Holmdel teen were indicted on charges stemming from incidents in Hazlet, Holmdel and Aberdeen.

Rafael Sanchez, Jr, 23, of Aberdeen and Jennifer Raxach, 18, of Holmdel were indicted by a Monmouth County grand jury on charges filed by Hazlet, Holmdel and Aberdeen.

Police say Sanchez stole over $500 worth of jewelry in Aberdeen on July 1 and received over $500 worth of stolen jewelry on both July 11 in Aberdeen and July 16 in Holmdel. Police say Raxach received over $500 worth of stolen jewelry between July 16 and 17 in Hazlet.

Sanchez was indicted on three charges, including theft of movable property and two counts of receiving stolen property. All are third degree crimes.

Raxach was indicted on one count of third degree receiving stolen property.

An indictment does not indicate a conviction, only that a grand jury voted there was enough evidence to proceed with a trial.
