Pair Accused of Drug Possession Near Matawan Aberdeen Middle School

Locust Street residents Eugene D. Wortham, Jr. and Doris D. Harris were allegedly found with cocaine and heroin.

A Monmouth County grand jury on Wednesday indicted a pair from Aberdeen allegedly found with heroin and cocaine in a school zone. 

Eugene D. Wortham, Jr. , 51, and Doris D. Harris, 55, were arrested at their Locust Street home on Feb. 21 after the Bayshore Unit of the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office Narcotics and Gang Investigation Bureau and the Aberdeen Township Police executed a search warrant on the residence. Their Locust Street home is less than half a mile from Matawan Aberdeen Middle School.

Worthram and Harris were each indicted on two counts of possession of controlled dangerous substance, two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute, and two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance within a school zone.
