Over 4,000 Lose Power in Monmouth

Some 4,421 households were without power Wednesday morning, according to Jersey Central Power & Light.

The sleet and icy rain has led to power outages across Monmouth County, according to the Jersey Central Power & Light outage map

Over 4,400 were without power as of 10 a.m. on Wednesday. Aberdeen was most affected with 1,535 outages reported. Millstone Township followed with 720. Over 650 in Marlboro experienced outages, as did 597 in Holmdel, 392 in Manalapan and 286 in Middletown.

Other towns reporting more than five outages in Monmouth included Colts Neck, Freehold Township, Hazlet, Howell, Matawan and Upper Freehold.
