One Injured After Rt 34 Motorcycle Accident

The accident was at the Van Brackle Rd. intersection last night

One was injured during a motorvehicle accident at the intersection of Route 34 and Van Brackle Rd. last night, according to police.

Police say that at about 9:44 p.m., a red 2009 Harley Davidson driving in the northbound lane of Rt. 34 and a silver Honda Pilot turning left onto Van Brackle Rd. from the southbound lane of Rt. 34 collided.

Aberdeen Det. Sgt. Mike O'Dwyer said that the motorcycle driver, identified as Michael Iannacone, 58, of Freeport, NY, was taken by medevac helicopter to Robert Wood Johnson for head injuries sustained during the accident.

O'Dwyer said as of last night, Iannacone's injuries were not life threatening.

The driver of the car, identified as Abraham Georgy, 55, of Aberdeen Township, was not injured, according to police.

The cause of the accident is still being investigated.
